בר תרתסרי שנין מנשה כד מלך וחמשין וחמש שנין מלך בירושלם:
byrwshlm mlk shnyn wkhmsh wkhmshyn mlk kd mnshh shnyn thrthsry br
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.

ועבד דביש קדם יי הי כתועבת עממיא די תריך יי מן קדם בני ישראל:
yshral bny qdm mn yy thryk dy emmya kthwebth hy yy qdm dbysh webd
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, after the abominations of the nations whom Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.

ותב ובנא ית כל במסיא דתרע יחזקיהו אבוהי ואקים אגוריא לבעליא ועבד אשירתא וסגיד לכל חילי שמיא ועבד יתהון:
ythhwn webd shmya khyly lkl wsgyd ashyrtha webd lbelya agwrya waqym abwhy ykhzqyhw dthre bmsya kl yth wbna wthb
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down; and he raised up altars for the Baals, made Asheroth, and worshiped all the army of the sky, and served them.

ובנא אגוריא ואקים פסלא בבית מקדשא דיי דאמר יי בירושלם אשרי שכנתי לעלם:
lelm shknthy ashry byrwshlm yy damr dyy mqdsha bbyth psla waqym agwrya wbna
He built altars in Yahweh’s house, of which Yahweh said, “My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.”

ובנא אגוריא לכל חילי שמיא בתרתין דירת בית מקדשא דיי:
dyy mqdsha byth dyrth bthrthyn shmya khyly lkl agwrya wbna
He built altars for all the army of the sky in the two courts of Yahweh’s house.

והוא אעבד ית בנוהי בנורא בחילת בר הנום ותבע מן מענניא ומן קוסמיא ומן חרשיא ועבד בדין ודכורו אסגי למעבד דביש לארגזא קדמוהי:
qdmwhy largza dbysh lmebd asgy wdkwrw bdyn webd khrshya wmn qwsmya wmn mennya mn wthbe hnwm br bkhylth bnwra bnwhy yth aebd whwa
He also made his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom. He practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits and with wizards. He did much evil in Yahweh’s sight, to provoke him to anger.

ואקים ית פסל צורתא די עבד בדיוקניה בבית מקדשא דיי די אמר יי לדוד ולשלמה בריה בביתא הדין ובירושלם דאתרעיתי מכל שבטיא דישראל אשרי ית שכנתי לעלמי עלמיא:
elmya lelmy shknthy yth ashry dyshral shbTya mkl dathreythy wbyrwshlm hdyn bbytha bryh wlshlmh ldwd yy amr dy dyy mqdsha bbyth bdywqnyh ebd dy tswrtha psl yth waqym
He set the engraved image of the idol, which he had made, in God’s house, of which God said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever.

ולא אוסיף לאגלאה ית עמא בית ישראל מעלוי ארעא די אקמית ביד אבהתהון לחוד אין ינטרון למעבד ית כל מה די פקדתנון לכל אוריתא וקימיא ודיניא בידא דמשה:
dmshh byda wdynya wqymya awrytha lkl pqdthnwn dy mh kl yth lmebd ynTrwn ayn lkhwd abhthhwn byd aqmyth dy area melwy yshral byth ema yth laglah awsyp wla
I will not any more remove the foot of Israel from off the land which I have appointed for your fathers, if only they will observe to do all that I have commanded them, even all the law, the statutes, and the ordinances given by Moses.”

ואטעי מנשה ית אנש יהודה ויתבי ירושלם ועבד דביש יתיר מן עממיא די שיצי יי מן קדם בני ישראל:
yshral bny qdm mn yy shytsy dy emmya mn ythyr dbysh webd yrwshlm wythby yhwdh ansh yth mnshh waTey
Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that they did more evil than did the nations whom Yahweh destroyed before the children of Israel.

ומליל יי לות מנשה ולות עמיה ואסהדנון בידא דנביא ולא אציתו:
atsythw wla dnbya byda washdnwn emyh wlwth mnshh lwth yy wmlyl
Yahweh spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they didn’t listen.

ואיתי יי עליהון ית רבני חילא די למלכא דאתור ואחדו ית מנשה בכירומנקיא ואסרוהי בשושלון דנחשא ואובלוהי לבבל ועבדו כשדאי מולות נחשא ונקבוהי נקבין נקבין דקיקין וסגרו יתיה בגוה ואציתו נורא חזור חזור ליה:
lyh khzwr khzwr nwra watsythw bgwh ythyh wsgrw dqyqyn nqbyn nqbyn wnqbwhy nkhsha mwlwth kshday webdw lbbl wawblwhy dnkhsha bshwshlwn wasrwhy bkyrwmnqya mnshh yth wakhdw dathwr lmlka dy khyla rbny yth elyhwn yy waythy
Therefore Yahweh brought on them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.

וכדעיק ליה תבע מן כלהון טעותא די עבד ולא אסתיע ארום לית בהון צרוך והדר וצלי קדם יי אלהיה ואתכנע לחדא מן קדם יי אלהא דאבהתוי:
dabhthwy alha yy qdm mn lkhda wathkne alhyh yy qdm wtsly whdr tsrwk bhwn lyth arwm asthye wla ebd dy Tewtha klhwn mn thbe lyh wkdeyq
When he was in distress, he begged Yahweh his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.

וצלי קדמוהי מן יד אזלו כל מלאכיא די ממנן על מעלני תרעי צלותא דבשמיא ואחדו אמטולתיה כל מעלני תרעי צלותא וכלהון כוי וחרכי שמיא מן בגלל דלא תתקבל צלותיה ומן יד אתגוללו רחמי מברי עלמא דימיניה מתיחא לקבלא חיביא דתיבין לדחלתיה ותברין יצרא דלבהון בתשובה ועבד חרכא ומחתרתא בשמיא תחות כורסי יקריה ושמע צלותיה וקביל בעותיה ואזיע עלמא במימריה ואתכפעת מולתא ונפק מתמן ונפקת רוחא מביני כנפי כרוביא ונתביה בגזירת מימרא דיי וחזר למלכותיה לירושלם וידע מנשה ארום יי הוא אלהא די עבד עמיה אתיא ותמהיא האנון ותב בכל לבביה קדם יי ושבק כל טעותא ולא אשתעבד להון:
lhwn ashthebd wla Tewtha kl wshbq yy qdm lbbyh bkl wthb hanwn wthmhya athya emyh ebd dy alha hwa yy arwm mnshh wyde lyrwshlm lmlkwthyh wkhzr dyy mymra bgzyrth wnthbyh krwbya knpy mbyny rwkha wnpqth mthmn wnpq mwltha wathkpeth bmymryh elma wazye bewthyh wqbyl tslwthyh wshme yqryh kwrsy thkhwth bshmya wmkhthrtha khrka webd bthshwbh dlbhwn ytsra wthbryn ldkhlthyh dthybyn khybya lqbla mthykha dymynyh elma mbry rkhmy athgwllw yd wmn tslwthyh ththqbl dla bgll mn shmya wkhrky kwy wklhwn tslwtha threy melny kl amTwlthyh wakhdw dbshmya tslwtha threy melny el mmnn dy mlakya kl azlw yd mn qdmwhy wtsly
He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.

ומן בתר כדין בנא שורא בריתא לקרתא דדויד ממישרא דגיחון בנחלא למיעל בתרע מזבני כוריה ואחזר לפלטרין ואגבה יתה עד לחדא ומני רבני חילא בכל קרויא כריכתא די בבית יהודה:
yhwdh bbyth dy kryktha qrwya bkl khyla rbny wmny lkhda ed ythh wagbh lplTryn wakhzr kwryh mzbny bthre lmyel bnkhla dgykhwn mmyshra ddwyd lqrtha brytha shwra bna kdyn bthr wmn
Now after this, he built an outer wall to David’s city on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate. He encircled Ophel with it, and raised it up to a very great height; and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah.

ועטר ית טעות עממיא וית צורתא מבית מקדשא דיי וית אגוריא דבנא בטור בית מקדשא דיי ובירושלם וטליק לברא לקרתא:
lqrtha lbra wTlyq wbyrwshlm dyy mqdsha byth bTwr dbna agwrya wyth dyy mqdsha mbyth tswrtha wyth emmya Tewth yth weTr
He took away the foreign gods and the idol out of Yahweh’s house, and all the altars that he had built in the mountain of Yahweh’s house and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.

ובנא ית מדבחא דיי ודבח עלוהי נכסי נכסת קודשין ותודתא ואמר לדבית יהודה למפלח ית יי אלהא דישראל:
dyshral alha yy yth lmplkh yhwdh ldbyth wamr wthwdtha qwdshyn nksth nksy elwhy wdbkh dyy mdbkha yth wbna
He built up Yahweh’s altar, and offered sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving on it, and commanded Judah to serve Yahweh, the God of Israel.

ברם עד כדון עמא דבחין בבמתיא לחוד לשום מימרא דיי אלההון:
alhhwn dyy mymra lshwm lkhwd bbmthya dbkhyn ema kdwn ed brm
Nevertheless the people still sacrificed in the high places, but only to Yahweh their God.

ושאר פתגמי מנשה וצלותיה די צלי קדם יי אלהיה ופתגמי נביאי דממללן עמיה בשום מימרא דיי אלהא דישראל הא אנון כתיבין על פתגמי מלכיא דבית ישראל:
yshral dbyth mlkya pthgmy el kthybyn anwn ha dyshral alha dyy mymra bshwm emyh dmmlln nbyay wpthgmy alhyh yy qdm tsly dy wtslwthyh mnshh pthgmy wshar
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, behold, they are written among the acts of the kings of Israel.

וצלותיה די צלי קדם יי והיך קביל יי צלותיה וכל סרחניה ושקריה ואתריא דבנא בהון במתיא ואקים אשרתא וצלמיא ואתכנעותיה הא אנון כתיבין על פתגמי חוזי:
khwzy pthgmy el kthybyn anwn ha wathknewthyh wtslmya ashrtha waqym bmthya bhwn dbna wathrya wshqryh srkhnyh wkl tslwthyh yy qbyl whyk yy qdm tsly dy wtslwthyh
His prayer also, and how God listened to his request, and all his sin and his trespass, and the places in which he built high places and set up the Asherah poles and the engraved images before he humbled himself: behold, they are written in the history of Hozai.

ושכיב מנשה עם אבהתוי וקברוהי בביתיה ומליך אמון בריה תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy bryh amwn wmlyk bbythyh wqbrwhy abhthwy em mnshh wshkyb
So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house; and Amon his son reigned in his place.

בר עשרין ותרתין שנין אמון כד מלך ותרתין שנין מלך בירושלם:
byrwshlm mlk shnyn wthrthyn mlk kd amwn shnyn wthrthyn eshryn br
Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign; and he reigned two years in Jerusalem.
22
ועבד דביש קדם יי היכמא די עבד מנשה אבוהי ולכל צלמניא די עבד מנשה אבוהי דבח אמון ופלחנון:
wplkhnwn amwn dbkh abwhy mnshh ebd dy tslmnya wlkl abwhy mnshh ebd dy hykma yy qdm dbysh webd
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, as did Manasseh his father; and Amon sacrificed to all the engraved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them.
23
ולא אתכנע מן קדם יי היכמא דאתכנע מנשה אבוהי ארום הוא אמון אסגי חובא:
khwba asgy amwn hwa arwm abwhy mnshh dathkne hykma yy qdm mn athkne wla
He didn’t humble himself before Yahweh, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but this same Amon trespassed more and more.

ומרדו על-והי עבדוהי וקטלוהי בביתיה:
bbythyh wqTlwhy ebdwhy elwhy wmrdw
His servants conspired against him, and put him to death in his own house.
25
וקטלו עמא דארעא ית כל דמרדו על מלכא אמון ואמליכו עמא דארעא ית יאשיהו בריה תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy bryh yashyhw yth darea ema wamlykw amwn mlka el dmrdw kl yth darea ema wqTlw
But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against King Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.
